Floortime

In Polanco (a wealthy Jewish neighborhood)
in Mexico City, today, August 16th, 2004
at 2:52 in the afternoon, a woman,
a nice woman, a spoiled woman, but
a nice thirty-three year-old woman faces
down in the pool, if there was a balcony
at this Mexican country club on the 2nd
floor, and you were standing on
this balcony, you would see this woman’s
black roots, her blonde highlights, gold
like a disco ball reflecting the sun.  Right now,
this beautiful, sorta young, golden-haired
black roots Jewish Mexican Woman is
looking for doody in the pool.  Julia does
not want you to know she is looking for doody
in the pool.  Julia is important.  Julia’s
husband is important.  Julia won’t get kicked
out of the country club.  But still, she
doesn’t want the Cuban Jewish Grandmother
with the gold bikini and gray hair, rubbing
oil on her brown spotted belly to see Julia
looking for doody in the pool.  You see Julia
is doing floortime(El tiempo para jugarse
en el piso) with her son.  Julia’s son is
Autistic (autistico in Spanish) and sometimes,
well, on many occasions, Julia’s beautiful
brilliant six year-old (naturally golden-haired)
boy has been known to doody
in the pool.
